Insights from the Successful Closure of the Project
The project PUZZLE – Towards a Sophisticated SIEM Marketplace for Blockchain-Based Threat Intelligence and Security-as-a-Service is now officially closed. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate as a consortium on this solution’s development over the last three years.
PUZZLE was founded by the European Union under the Horizon2020 Research and Innovation Programme. The project was a 5.2 million Euro, three-year research project with 13 partners representing research institutes, universities, technology providers, infrastructure providers (and users), and industrial partners (including eight SMEs&MEs) from 8 EC member states and associated countries.
Final Review Meeting
PUZZLE has passed another major milestone in project completion: the Final Review Meeting. PUZZLE held its final review meeting on October 19th, 2023. During the online meeting, the consortium partners presented their excellent work on the project, while the Project Officer and two reviewers commended the project’s development and outcomes. After the presentations, the first feedback from the reviewers was highly positive assessments. It was a successful voyage that was accomplished in the best possible manner due to all consortium partners.
Delivering effective cyber protection to small businesses
Successful trials of an innovative SME cybersecurity marketplace could help to establish a trustworthy digital environment in the EU. In a rapidly evolving digital environment, small businesses face ongoing pressure to ensure the safety, trustworthiness, and security of their operations. This is generally done with limited resources and a lack of knowledge and qualified personnel.
To address these challenges, the PUZZLE project set out to develop and make available cybersecurity tools targeted specifically at SMEs. The goal was to ensure that even the smallest SME would have access to tools to effectively monitor, forecast, assess, and manage their cyber risks.
The CORDIS platform’s “Results in Brief” section provides an in-depth overview of the whole development process and outcomes of the PUZZLE Project.
